WELCOME TO THE BAHAMAS EDUCATION CULTURE AND SCIENCE FOUNDATION, INC.
The mission of The Bahamas Education Culture and Science (BECS) Foundation is to advance tertiary education, artistic expression, and scientific research by providing funds for support of academic programs, lecture series, cultural exchanges, and scientific and environmental research projects.
The Bahamas Education Culture and Science Foundation (BECS Foundation) was incorporated in the state of Florida in 2003, as a nonprofit organization for the support of higher education and research projects and programs in The Bahamas.
The goals of the BECS Foundation are:
To support higher education and scientific research in The Bahamas in support of specifically proposed programs and projects.
To raise funds in support of higher education in The Bahamas.
To support the development of stronger international relations between the peoples of the United States and The Bahamas through cultural exchange.
About BCES
The BECS Foundation was approved by the United States Treasury Department and given 501 (c) 3 status, as a public foundation in early 2004.
The purpose of the Foundation is to make donations, gifts and contributions in support of higher education, culture and scientific research in The Bahamas
